Back to Santa Fe
These tiny lizards are everywhere. New Mexico whiptails, not recognizing borders, can also be found in Arizona and parts of northern Mexico.
They are female-only lizards and are dubbed the "leaping lesbian lizard," which has become a gay icon in online queer spaces. They reproduce asexually through a process called parthenogenesis, where eggs develop into embryos without fertilization, essentially creating clones of the mother.
After leaving Los Angeles, Maui transitioned from master squirrel chaser to supreme lizard hunter.
From the tiniest lizards to some gargantuan monsters, New Mexico offers everything in between. You can see actual dinosaur footprints at Clayton Lake State Park. This section of the “dinosaur highway” is located 15 miles north of Clayton, close to New Mexico's border with Colorado.
I started focusing more on photography. I watched endless YouTube videos and scrolled through famous photographers’ websites. But I was always drawn to Nature. Some of the photographs below were taken in my garden, while a few were captured in the local landscape.
I was also contemplating where I was going in life…
Where am I now? You can find me on Blue Sky.
