Nikon D700

While I was packing to move from Los Angeles, I bought my first high end camera, a Nikon D700, and then I was off to Palm Springs for a long weekend.

One of my first ever photo shoots was at Moorten Botanical Garden.  

These are unedited because I hadn’t discovered Lightroom yet.

My first outing after dark was at the “Kool Aid Fountain” in Los Feliz, a neighborhood in LA.  I played with timing and lighting.  

Then I bought a couple of lenses to shoot at Suihō-en (“garden of water and fragrance”) in Van Nuys in The Valley.

Another chapter in my life was ending, and I was departing Los Angeles…
