First Vacation After Cancer

Though I was in remission, my daughter moved her wedding up. It was just a small family gathering in a garden with dinner following. I remember little of the event because I was still dealing with fatigue and nausea.

While they honeymooned in Florida, I went to the Grand Tetons.

I had upgraded my iPhone to a simple snap-and-shoot camera. I still had to relearn photography and my Nikon D700.

During my next visit to the oncologist, it was suggested that I receive a stem cell transplant at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

My journey with brain cancer wasn’t close to being over...
