It took four different seizure meds at two different doses, but finally the team at Tufts found the right combo. They released me to drive. I immediately bought a new car.
I also put an offer on a place in Beverly, on the North Shore of Boston. When I landed in Portland, Oregon, I got a text from the Realtor saying they had accepted my offer.
Oregon was my final state!
I had now visited all 50 states!
I stayed in Portland for two days before driving down the coast. Another bucket list item. My first stop was the famous Cannon Beach. Famous for a reason!
Other stops:
Once back in Boston, the packing began! And I needed new furniture. Or rather, vintage furniture. I visited the Topsfield Fair. Twice a year, vendors from all over converge on this small town in Massachusetts. I ended up with a dresser.
After settling into my new home, it was time to relearn my Nikon D700.
It had been 44 months since the last time I was able to use this camera. It had been too complex, as I was relearning literally everything.
I selected the auto mode. I was only figuring out framing again.
This image was captured at Salem Willows in Salem, Massachusetts. Beverly is across the bridge.
I will never sell this photograph.
Some of my images are available for purchase.
Where am I now? You can find me on Blue Sky.
